Open Youth Club

Tuesdays: 5 - 7pm
Wednesdays: 5 - 7pm
Saturdays: 11am - 4pm

Saturdays at Kings Hall Swimming Pool: 4 - 5pm.
Please note: names must be enrolled during Saturday club sessions for attendance at the pool session.

Note: Members must wear a bouyancy aid when participating in canoeing activites and should bring a complete change of clothes, including spare shoes and a towel.

Holiday project

Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm during Hackney schools holidays.

Trips Away

Family Project

Sundays, 10am - 1pm: Canoeing and kayaking.
Sundays, 2pm - 5pm: Short Narrowboat trips for family groups.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and adults must be accompanied by a child.
A full programme of off-site activities is planned.

Inclusion

Sessions for young people from Hackney with a disability
Monday sports club - 4.30 - 7pm for 14 - 19 year olds.
Thursday sports club, 4.30 - 7pm for 9 - 13 year olds.
Activities this year include swimming, football, basketball and powerboating.
Spaces are still available in both of these clubs.

Thurday Group - 12.30 - 3.30pm (during schools term-time only)
Canoeing and narrowboating sessions for adults with mental health issues.
Cost: Free!

Youth Watersports Training Project

For 16 - 24 year olds NOT in full time employment, who want to become watersports instructors.....£FREE!

Adult Canoeing Club

Every Wednesday night, 7.30 - 9.30pm at the club.
Please bring a complete change of clothes, including spare shoes and a towel.

All abilities are welcome!

Narrowboating

Two boats are available with a maximum of 12 participants per boat (one boat has full wheel-chair access).
For youth, comminity, educational and welfare groups a half day trip is 10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm, a full day is (10am - 5pm).
Private, Corporate and social groups can be accommodated when availability allows.
Trips must be booked in advance.

Narrowboat training:
Laburnum Boat Club is a registered training centre for both R.Y.A and N.C.B.A boat handling courses. We are able to offer one or two day R.Y.A Inland Waterways Helmsman’s certificate, the N.C.B.A Complete Crew course, and also the N.C.B.A certificate in Community boat Management (by arrangement only).

YOUTH CLUB: £1/session or £20/year

FAMILY CLUB: £1/session

ADULT CLUB: £3/session or £60/year

CANOEING SESSIONS: £ 30/1.5 hours
(maximum 12 per group, including an adult)

SCHOOL FUN DAYS: £180/day
(maximum 36 per group, including 3 adults)

YWTP, SPORTS and THURSDAY CLUB: FREE
